Monitoring the Insulation Resistance

Monitor the insulation resistance of the positive and negative poles of the DC system to the ground. When the insulation resistance is lower than the set pre-warning and alarm values, pre-warning and alarm signals can be issued.

1 RS485 interface, using Modbus-RTU protocol, can carry out data exchange.

Alarm

Monitor the voltage fluctuations of the DC system. When overvoltage or undervoltage occurs, an alarm signal can be issued in time.

Wiring

AIM-D 100-T series DC insulation monitor has terminals on top and bottom, with top terminals as shown in the figure below:

Positive electrode is ground to the negative electrode

accessory power supply

The top of the instrument is divided into two rows of wiring terminals. The TOP line terminal is instrument auxiliary power supply, requiring DC24V power supply, 1st access to power supply positive electrode and 2nd access to power supply negative electrode. The BOT line terminal is the access system wiring, no. No.11 is the positive of the DC system, No.14 is the negative of the DC system, and No.3 is the PE grounding row of the access site.

The lower terminals are shown below:

RS 485 Communication insulation early warning, insulation alarm, voltage alarm

Instrument lower terminal terminal 21,22 is RS 485 communication terminal, 21 to A, 22 to B, not back. Terminal 40 to 45 are relay output terminals, 40 and 41 are DO 1 output, indicating early warning, 42 and 43 are DO 2 output, indicating alarm, 44 and 45 are DO 3 output, indicating underpressure alarm. The relay output can be set in normally open or normally closed mode, and can be connected to external buzzer or sound and optical alarm. The relay is passive output and needs external power supply.

 Wiring specification description:

Auxiliary power supply, functional grounding, DC system positive and negative electrode wiring, relay output wiring, 1.5mm can be selected2Multi-core copper wire. The RS485 communication wiring can be selected as 0.75~1.5mm2The shielded twisted pair wire.
